ACL's are No Fun...

On June 1st, I was tumbling at ACC and landed a tumbling pass weird (fulls are deadly). When I tried to stand up, my knee felt like jello and I couldn't walk on it. I went to an orthopedic doctor the next morning and found out my ACL and medial meniscus were both torn. That was all a month ago and yesterday I had my surgery. They ended up taking my patella tendon and replacing the ACL with that. My meniscus they snipped out. Everyone at St. Vincent's was amazing and took great care of me. I was under general anesthesia and had a nerve block in my leg. The nerve block is definitely gone now and I'm starting to feel pain in my leg. Let's just say the Lora tab has become my friend. :) My friends and family have been great and very supportive through all of it so I just want to say thanks to you guys. I can't sleep right now, but Trey is coming over in a little bit and that will make everything that much better! Oh! and mom bought me an UglyDoll Wednesday and it's my new best friend. Haha. His name is IceBat.

Decisions, Decisions

Well.. after a lot of talk and prayer I decided not to try out for Briarwood Cheerleading. It's going to be so wierd after doing it since 7th grade not to cheer my senior year, but it just didn't feel right. After doing ACC and loving it so much I just wanted to give 100% to one or the other and my heart wasn't in school cheerleading anymore. I think it will be a good senior year. Britten hired me and Marinda to work at the gym so we're really excited about the new jobs..

It's been a good month. I love my life.. Briarpatch Day and Prom tomorrow! I'm like really excited. Hopefully everything will go well... however if it doesn't, God's just giving me another opportunity to laugh.

College Visits..

Well.. just got home from Samford University. I liked it a lot..
We won first place this weekend at Jamfest in Mobile! It was exciting. That makes us National Champions..woohoo. (I have the hoodie to prove it. Haha) We also got a bid to U.S. Finals so that's exciting too. Now I'm off to Briarworld to go to stunt clinic.. and tryout week begins..

Mobile in the Morning

It's like 12:40 am and suprise, I can't sleep. I had such a good night tonight... :]. Haha. We're leaving for Mobile in the morning for JamFest Nationals. WooHoo. We're winning this one, I can feel it. Hah. Me and Marinda are leaving early so we can go prom dress shopping for the "prom we aren't going to". We won't buy anything but looking is always fun.. I just remembered I need a dress for the Senior Ball for Sweethearts too.. junk. Okay, well I'm going to read my book and attempt sleep while I wait for Trey to call and tell me he's alive. :]
