ACL's are No Fun...

On June 1st, I was tumbling at ACC and landed a tumbling pass weird (fulls are deadly). When I tried to stand up, my knee felt like jello and I couldn't walk on it. I went to an orthopedic doctor the next morning and found out my ACL and medial meniscus were both torn. That was all a month ago and yesterday I had my surgery. They ended up taking my patella tendon and replacing the ACL with that. My meniscus they snipped out. Everyone at St. Vincent's was amazing and took great care of me. I was under general anesthesia and had a nerve block in my leg. The nerve block is definitely gone now and I'm starting to feel pain in my leg. Let's just say the Lora tab has become my friend. :) My friends and family have been great and very supportive through all of it so I just want to say thanks to you guys. I can't sleep right now, but Trey is coming over in a little bit and that will make everything that much better! Oh! and mom bought me an UglyDoll Wednesday and it's my new best friend. Haha.
